Home Detox

January 26th, 2009 · 3 Comments

I have added an article on our main site about “home detox – how to detox at home using diet“.

Low Cost – and Effective

Detox is something that will happen by itself. It is part of the body’s natural function.

However, sometimes the body needs a bit of help. Eating lots of meat, lots of starchy foods, smoking, drinking alcohol, tea and coffee all help to increase the number of toxins. the body produces. An occasional detox – preferably for at least 30 days – will help to clear this buildup.

Even better is to improve our lifestyle so that this buildup of toxins is less.

This might be by improving diet – along the lines suggested in the detox article; by taking more rest, getting more regular exercise or reducing stress levels.

Diet Is Often the Key to DetSalad_Pallet_lrox

Our diet often holds the key to detox – and that is something which is fairly easy to control from home.

Even something as simple as making a big bowl of salad once a week, dividing its into portions, and storing it in the fridge in airtight containers, is simple to do and very effective. There is always a salad at hand, whether it’s to eat at home or to grab one take to work. You only need to add a can of sardines or some hummus.

Check out the article about helping yourself to detox at home.

Detoxing at home is the only way to do it. I have no idea how people afford to go do detox centers.

I have used a colon cleanser and it worked for me. Not all products are a ripoff. There are good products to use. Be sure it is all natural. They aren’t all expensive. This doesn’t work for everyone. Go to your local health store and ask for an all natural colon cleanse. The one I bought was about $10.00. Follow directions exactly for results. I could start feeling a difference in 3-4 days. If you don’t find a store, a friend gave me this store for an all natural cleanser. My doctor friend said they are safe if used right.

Thanks for that comment. $10 is good if you got a result. Our own 90-day Colon Cleansing Programme is great to help for the long term and many people have praised it. It also includes a money-back guarantee, unlimited free support and is, of course 90 days long. But – horses for courses; you have to find out what works for you and stick to that.
