Reading the background of interval training, there is plenty of supporting evidence for its benefits.</p>
<p>I have now completely swapped my focus from <a href="http://www.technorati.com/tag/cardio"  rel="tag">cardio</a> and weight training to interval training. I am already noticing stronger muscles, more defined abdomen and increased stamina.</p>
<p>Interval training is also cheaper, quicker, and more effective than other exercise methods. It builds muscles, strengthens the heart and lungs, and even reduces inflammation in the body &#8211; those who read my posts regularly know how keen I am to <a href="http://livingto150.com/aging-and-longevity-4-inflammation/" >reduce inflammation</a>.</p>
<p>I strongly recommend you to check out the <a href="http://www.healthynumber1.com/Exercise/Interval-Training.html" >articles I have written about interval training</a>. If you do it, it will make a big difference to your health.</p>
<p>The downside? Ok &#8211; it&#8217;s tough! It is a hard exercise, stretching you but just for short period. Short, sharp exercise suits me fine if it&#8217;s for a proven purpose. Hopefully it will suit you too.</p>
