Is Anyone Interval Training?

by malc on September 9, 2009

exercise-jogging-w200-h200Is anyone doing interval training? I wrote a couple of posts about this method recently and wondered if anyone has picked up on the method.

I like to recommend it to you because there has been a load of research done on it – which is generally not known. If the government and NHS were better informed they’s be recommending interval training over straight cardio exercise – which is the official line.

It is also great for weight loss, and turning fat to muscle.

Read some articles I have written about interval training here.

And here are two fantastic ‘quick start’ interval training workouts. They take 6-8 minutes each. Try doing them on alternate days.

Let me know how it goes.

Can YOU spare 8 minutes a day to stay really healthy?

Good luck :-)

That is a interesting exercise plan that I was not familiar with. I read a few of your articles on it and might give it a try.

I tend to be a walker and enjoy going on hikes, so have very strong stamina. However, I have yet to really make use of the expensive weight system that is sitting in my house :(
