Probiotic Needed To Help Bowel

by malc on September 14, 2009

An shortage of acidophilus – one of the healthy bowel bacteria – was diagnosed in the American anti-aging health tests I had done recently. I need to supplement them.

shs-Bio30-sm-w200-h200Results also showed that my bifidobacterium – another of the healthy ones – while better than acidophilus level, but still a bit low. E coli – which you need to have in the bowel for healt – was at a good level.

I will take a 3-4 month course of our probiotic, Bio Multi-flora Capsules, taking two capsules a day.

It will be interesting to retest the bacteria then – which is done via a stool test – and see the exact benefits. I’ve a few other blood tests to repeat, so I’ll do them all at the same time.

I look forward to the time when we can get blood tests in the UK at a reasonable price.
