A recipe book has been developed specifically for suffers from prostate cancer. Chefs such as Anthony Worrel Thompson have contributed recipes.
The content of the book has been devised by scientists to advise on foods and food preparation methods which can help the disease. For example, certain foods are known, they say, to slow the spread of cancer. These include onions, garlic, tomatoes and broccoli.
Certain methods of preparation need to be observed to get the most out of these foods. For example, did you know that chopped onions should be left to stand for ten minutes before cooking them? This allows a vital enzyme which can help cancer to become active.
The book is the Prostate Care Cookbook.
C-Reactive Protein
If only folk would have their c-reactive protein (CRP) checked regularly, they might be able to stop or delay the development of cancer or slow it’s spreading. Checking CRP involves just a simple blood test, but it is very little known in the UK. Doctors can do it – but they rarely talk about it.
Power Garlic Capsules
For a painless way to take a low-odour garlic supplement try our high quality Power Garlic Capsules. Grown organically in USA, Power Garlic is treated so that it’s allicin – the smelly part – is released very slowly – thus reducing odour to a bare minimum.
We recommend taking one capsule with each meal to support the heart, arteries and immune system.
